Contact and account information
Pocketchief may collect contact details you provide, including your name, email address, company information, and communication history when you contact Pocketchief, request a report by email, or use account-related access features.
If you use saved-report or account access features, Pocketchief may also store information needed to authenticate access, remember your account, and help you reopen prior business reads.
Technical and usage information
Pocketchief may automatically receive technical information such as device and browser details, IP address or approximate location inferred from network traffic, page visits, interaction events, referrer information, and similar usage data used to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Pocketchief may use collected information to:
- generate, deliver, and support Pocketchief business reads and related report emails

- maintain records reasonably related to operations, compliance, and dispute handling
Pocketchief may also use submitted information to create aggregated or de-identified product insights that are not intended to identify a particular person or business.
Service providers and third-party processors
Pocketchief may use service providers that process information on its behalf for hosting, infrastructure, analytics, security, database support, and email delivery. Based on the current site and repo setup, those providers may include Vercel, Supabase, PostHog, Cloudflare, and Resend.
Those providers may process information only as reasonably needed to perform their role for Pocketchief, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
When information may be disclosed
Pocketchief may disclose information to service providers, contractors, advisors, or authorities where reasonably necessary to operate the service, protect rights and security, comply with law, or support a business transfer, financing, or reorganization.
